Earth and Arbor Month

Tree City USA has named the Town of Barrington one of 13 “Tree Cities” in Rhode Island, a program that stresses the importance of maintaining and planting new public trees. The Town Council recently issued a proclamation designating Friday, April 28th as “Arbor Day” and a tree planting will take place that day at Walker Farm (details to come). Let’s work together toward a more sustainable planet!
