PECK CENTER INTERIOR RENOVATIONS

ADDENDUM #1 (9/9/19)

The Town of Barrington is soliciting Bids from experienced and qualified contractors for the Peck Center Interior Renovations Project. Provide all labor, materials and equipment required for interior renovations at the Adult Enrichment Center and TAP-IN in the Lower Level of the Peck Center, 281 County Road. Work is to include selective interior demolition, architectural renovations, millwork, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection. Provide and install kitchen appliances in the AEC. Provide a Hazardous Materials Abatement Plan for State approval. Project also includes: boiler demolition and abatement, storage area demolition and the construction of wire partitions, and exterior improvements including concrete, handrails and guard rails.

Sealed bids are due by Friday, October 4, 2019 before 11 a.m. local time at the Department of Public Works, 84 Upland Way, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read.

Bid Bond in the amount of 5% is required. Desired Substantial Completion Date: Not later than April 17, 2020.

A mandatory Pre-Bid Briefing will take place Friday, September 13, 2019, at 10 a.m., in the Town Council Chamber, 2nd Floor, Barrington Town Hall, 283 County Road. A Site Tour will take place at the Peck Center/Library (next door to Town Hall) immediately after the Pre-Bid Briefing.
