The Town of Barrington is soliciting Bids from experienced and qualified contractors for construction of 300 feet of sidewalk with curbing on Sowams Road. Provide all labor, materials and equipment required for the work, in accordance with plans and specifications. This is a prevailing wage job.

  2. Proposals will be received until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2019
  3. Bids submitted to the Building & Zoning Office, 2nd Floor, Barrington Town Hall, 283 County Road, Barrington, RI
  4. The Bidder shall guarantee that the work will begin on or after November 5, 2019 and be completed no later than November 30, 2019 (weather dependent). If there are weather restrictions, the work is to be completed no later than May 1, 2020.

The Town of Barrington is soliciting Bids from experienced and qualified contractors for the Peck Center Interior Renovations Project. Provide all labor, materials and equipment required for interior renovations at the Adult Enrichment Center and TAP-IN in the Lower Level of the Peck Center, 281 County Road. Work is to include selective interior demolition, architectural renovations, millwork, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection. Provide and install kitchen appliances in the AEC. Provide a Hazardous Materials Abatement Plan for State approval.

Project also includes: boiler demolition and abatement, storage area demolition and the construction of wire partitions, and exterior improvements including concrete, handrails and guard rails.

Sealed bids are due by Thursday, October 31, 2019 [NEW DATE] before 11 a.m. local time at the Department of Public Works, 84 Upland Way, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR PAYROLL SERVICES

General Information:
1) Provider or Proposer shall mean an individual or firm submitting a proposal in response to this Request for Proposals (RFP).

Scope of Services: The Town is requesting proposals from payroll service providers to perform payroll and some benefit administration services in accordance with the specifications set forth herein. The Town needs two sets of proposals. One proposal shall be provided for services to the Town only and the other shall be provided to include the School with the Town.
